We are currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator - Construction to add to our team located in North York.

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator position will report directly to the Project Manager as an integral part of our construction team. The successful candidate will have practical experience in the construction industry and possesses the knowledge, experience, and confidence to engage and professionally interact with sub-trades, designers, consultants, engineers and clients. Through direction from the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for gathering, compiling, reviewing and communicating project related documentation and initiatives with key stakeholders and the project team in an effort to improve accuracy, schedule, and value.

Responsibilities and Duties

Proactive communication with Project Manager, sub-trades, clients, and project team regarding tendering, coordination, site progress, and invoicing.
Plan and organize available resources to meet project needs, as directed by Project Manager.
Prioritize exceptional customer service and effective communication.
Complete submittals, transmittals, tenders, RFI's, CCN's, CO's, close out documentation, and operation/maintenance manuals, as directed by Project Manager.
Maintain and promote TGA policies and procedures with all sub-trades and staff
Review invoices for accurate billing of materials, quantities, and progress percentage
Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings and maintain detailed note log when attending: tender meetings, construction kick-off's, and progress meetings, as directed by Project Manager.
Ensure thorough understanding of project contracts, specifications, and drawings
Support various projects as directed by Project Manager.
Prepare sub-contractor purchase orders, work orders, and contracts, as directed by Project Manager.
Contribute to improved quality and value with all initiatives, projects, and events.

Qualifications and Requirements


Post-secondary accreditation in the construction or relevant field.


3+ years experience in renovation and construction field

Experienced in the review and comprehension of construction documents not limited to drawings, specifications, contract documents and planning concepts
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Practical knowledge and experience with office 365 and Microsoft suite not limited to excel, project, outlook, word, and PowerPoint.
