Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, Civil and High Rise construction in Canada is a complex web of design, procurement and supply chain management. With its own unique rules of play and legal concepts, a two day adventure to look at the basics of the overall industry serves the student well. Augmenting CCA’s Construction 101 prescribed content, the facilitator adds group exercises, group role playing such as owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants brain storming together to break down the silos that prevail in the everyday delivery of a construction project. There is no other forum quite like it that brings all stakeholders together at the same time!

THIS COURSE IS A BROAD SCOPE WORKSHOP FOR NEW ENTRANTS INTO THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR, NEW PROJECT COORDINATORS OR MANAGERS, OR PERIPHERAL ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. SENIOR AND MID-LEVEL EXECUTIVES IN HR/REAL ESTATE WITH NO PRIOR CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND WILL ALSO BENEFIT FROM THE CONTENT.
FOLLOWING CONSTRUCTION 101, CONSTRUCTION Project Management 201 IS A RECOMMENDED MEDIUM SCOPE WORKSHOP TO COMPLIMENT A PARTICIPANTS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
This course is Gold Seal Certified(2 credits) and qualifies you for OAA Continuing Education Learning hours.
